Lancome Lipsticks

Lancome Lipsticks

Hi Lovies! So I recently bought Lancomes free gift at Macys three times and got all three lip sticks so I decided to share them with you! I love these colors and they last a long time. I always get compliments when I wear these colors. All three colors are from their color design line; Wannabe, Love it, and Pretty Burgundy. I definitely give these shades two thumbs up! What do you think? Have you tried them?

DIY Facial Cleansing with Origins

Need Some Extra Exfoliation?
DIY Clarisonic with Origins Facial Brush

"Origins soft-bristled facial brush helps maximize your cleanser's benefits as it sloughs away dull cells to reveal cleaner, healthier, brighter looking skin."

So, realistically not everyone has 119 or 149 dollars to spend on a clarisonic so instead you could try this manual one by Origins. This brush only cost $4.00 and for the price it works wonders. Im in love ;) I used it today with my wash away gel cleanser by Clinique to take my makeup off. It worked really well and did a great job exfoliating. Im rather impressed. I only used it for about 3 minutes because thats all you really need to use it for. After the first use I noticed my face was not as oily,  it looked healthy, and just overall more radiant and smooth. What i also liked was the fact that it didn't make my face red after using.

Not to mention, this is prefect for traveling. This brush is also very easy to clean, just rinse it under hot water with a little soap and let it dry.

Hypnôse Star Mascara

Lancome

Hypnôse Star Mascara

"This mascara dresses lashes in intense volume, unfolding a new vision of glamour inspired by Betty Boop and top model Daria Werbowy. The formula's "black-diamond effect" imparts a glossy gel-like finish. The dual-action brush has a flat side for optimizing product deposit at the lash line while the rounded side separates, defines, and lengthens."

Im not totally sold on this mascara quite yet. I have more of a hate love relationship with this Lancome mascara.  I believe that their are better mascaras out there especially from Lancome. As you can see, the wand is rather different. Its tapered and flat at the same time. You are supposed to start with the flat side and wiggle the wand up toward the end of your lashes then fan your lashes out with the other side.  see video below. I did not notice any fallout with this mascara and my lashes are not super crunchy. I got volume with the mascara but my lashes were not as thick as i like. I definitely choose this one over the original hypnose mascara by lancome but its still not a favorite.

L'oreal total repair 5 damage-erasing balm

L'oreal total repair 5 damage-erasing balm

"Repairs Up to One Year of Damage. 5 Problems.1 Solution."

"Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm is a rinse-out reconstructing balm that repairs up to one year of damage in 1 use*. Both powerful and luxurious, the balm instantly repairs the 5 signs of damage – split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness, and dehydration. * Reverses damage to hair’s smoothness with daily use, when using the system of shampoo & balm."

This was definitely a unique impulse buy that I'm definitely buying again! This is a deep conditioning mask that smells amazing! My hair is damaged. It has been dyed and I apply a lot of heat to it. Also, during these winter months its been very dry. I had been using the macadamia oil conditioning mask and I was at a store that did not have that mask so i opted for this one and i don't regret it one bit and the cost is so much more affordable. The ends of my hair are noticeably softer. My hair is noticeably shinier. My hair looks healthy. I have only used it a couple of times and so far its working wonderfully. The packaging is sleek for only being $6.99. Also you get a lot for the price, 8.5 ounces. If your hair is looking for some extra loving definitely purchase this!

Teint Idole Ultra 24H-$45.00

Teint Idole Ultra 24 hour foundation by Lancome

$45.00

This is a perfecting foundation that lasts 24 hours. Never tried this oil-free, shine-free foundation so I thought I would give it a try. This formula took Lancome 8 years to complete! This foundation comes in wide variety of18 shades. This light weight formula is full coverage and gives a naturally matte finish without looking heavy or cakey. I don't have to worry about becoming oily with this foundation which is nice because it is oil controlling. I also love how it does not break me out and is fragrance free. What I love the most is that the foundation is long lasting!! The packaging is nice because it comes in a pump and is nice to pair with lancomes foundation primer.

no makeup ^^ (eyes not finished)
only right side is completed for comparison^^ (eyes not done)
Finishing look^^ (still not completed with my makeup for the day)

I love how this look doesn't have much up keep. Its perfect for summer in my opinion! I had it for a little while and I always kept my hair curly or scrunched. I will say I don't necessarily love the look straight.

Acne Problems?

Acne Solutions Clear Skin System

I absolutely love this stuff! It saved my skin and I'm not just saying that because I work for Clinique. I truly believe in this product. All it takes is a daily routine thats 3 steps morning and night.

"The Clear Skin System wastes no time in giving blemishes the boot. Does it without the dryness and irritation that generally gets skin into trouble. It's simple, scientific. Gentle exfoliation opens clogged pores, evicts blemish-causing bacteria. Targeted ingredients rush in to accelerate treatment. Keeps skin clearer, longer, too."

So, i switched birth controls and currently have mirena which doesn't help my acne. When I stopped the other birth control my acne started to really flare up and become a problem for me. I tried using other OTC products before this. For some reason this 3 step was my last resort before going to a dermatologist. Crazy to think I was working for Clinique but never wanted to give this product a shot until I went to school and heard fabulous testimonies. The only thing I add to this is the dramatically different moisturizing gel before the clearing moisturizer just to give my skin an extra, oil-free, hydrating boost.

Let's rewind a bit.... What causes acne? When your pores are clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells the oxygen supply is cut off. Acne causing agents LOVE oxygen starved pores (clogged pores are the acne causes agents homes). The longer each pore is clogged, the more aggravated the acne causing agents become which results in irritation and infection which results in a pimple.... To fight this common problem you must open up the pores with exfoliation thats gentle so you don't continue to irritate the skin. Oxygen rids the pores of acne causing agents. Once the pores are open acne medication can begin treatment

With the cleansing foam, clarifying lotion and clearing moisturizer I believe this product works! However, if you have cynic acne that starts at the sebaceous glands and is very painful you must see a dermatologist.

When using this product you wash your face with the cleansing foam. Then, you shake up the clarifying lotion because it has mattifying deposits, sweep that over your face once with a cotton ball and follow with the moisturizer.

Tigi Bed Head Urban Antidotes

Tigi Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 1 Review
here's the website!
"Urban Antidote #1: Work hard, play hard. That's how you roll. Get yourself back to normal with a hydrating, strengthening & shine-enhancing shampoo"
"Perfect for normal hair that needs a daily pick-me-up"
I absolutely love this duo! This shampoo and conditioner does exactly what it says it will and if you love cosmetics as much as i do you know that says something. It smells amazing (good enough to eat! ;) ) and doesn't strip my color treated hair. It makes my hair super shiny and soft. Also, this shampoo and conditioner doesn't deprive my hair of its moisture like many others do. My hair does not have any static either.  Anyone just wanting some daily care, have oily hair, anyone with slight chemically over-processed hair, or slight heat damaged hair would benefit from this shampoo and conditioner. Now if your hair is very over processed and very damaged, Urban Antidotes has two other levels; levels 2 and 3 that would be more appropriate.

Purchased at JCPenny's salon as a pack for $16.00

latest skincare with Clinique!!

Since I have started working for clinique, I have really been working on having a good skincare regimen for my skin type.... Your makeup only looks as good as your skin does underneath.

My daily and nightly skin care routine for oily, acne prone skin includes....

Wash- away gel cleanser for oily skin to remove makeup
acne solutions 3 step for face wash, clarifying lotion (toner), and clearing moisturizer
I absolutely love this product! Cleared up my acne!

basic eye cream

eye serum

radiance renewer

moisturizer to balance oil and water in skin and hydrate

exfoliation

My skin care process begins with the wash away gel cleanser to remove my makeup. Then, i use 7-day scrub for up to five minutes all over my face including my lips. Next, is the acne solutions cleansing foam wash. After I dry my face, using a cotton ball, I sweep the acne solutions clarifying lotion all over my face one time (after the product was first shaken). Then, I use my dramatically different moisturizing gel since this product balances the oil and water in my skin and helps to hydrate without adding more oil into my already oily skin. Next, I use my all about eyes serum followed by the eye cream in the rich formula. Next, I use my turnaround concentrate all over not including the eye area. Finally I use the acne solutions clearing moisturizer.

If you have any questions please comment below! I didn't really go into what each product does if you want me to please comment below! If you want a skincare tip post comment below!
thanks <3
